Making Community Connections through Classic Cars

Authored By: Amber Jordan on 6/12/2023

Being founded and headquartered in Northeast Indiana, Fort Financial is deeply committed to serving the residents of our region and supporting our local communities. Our Auburn branch is proud to once again partner with the Auburn Cord Duesenberg (ACD) Festival to bring some exciting events to DeKalb County.

Third Thursday Cruise-ins

We are pleased to sponsor the ACD Festival’s Third Thursday Cruise-ins in the months of June, July and August. Join us and hundreds of classic car owners and enthusiasts as the cruise-in takes over the downtown Auburn courthouse square each third Thursday of the summer months.

Our Auburn branch staff enjoys how the cruise-ins bring people from all over the region to downtown Auburn and showcase our vibrant downtown district.

Make plans to stop out, admire the amazing work being down to restore and preserve these classic works of art from all makes and models of automobiles, treat yourself to dinner or a treat from one of our locally-owned downtown eateries and browse the unique selections at the shops and boutiques that occupy our historic storefronts. And don’t forget to stop by our tent to say “Hello!”

ACD Festival Ticket to Ride

Our Auburn branch staff looks forward to the week leading up to Labor Day each day as our city fills with activity and fun as the ACD Festival takes over.

This year, we are excited to sponsor the popular Ticket to Ride event on Saturday, September 3rd. Meet us by the James Cultural Plaza in downtown Auburn for a chance to ride in a classic car! All ages are welcome to ride and photos are encouraged. And if you have trouble picking which car to ride, know that you can ride multiple vehicles! This is a free ACD Festival event.

We hope to see you out in Auburn this summer!
