Deposit Account Questions
You can use the online account application to establish your Fort Financial membership and apply to open a savings account, certificate of deposit or checking account.
No, you do not have to be an existing Fort Financial member. Everyone can use the online account application to apply. However, non-members must meet our eligibilty requirements to become a member.
During the application process, we'll ask for your contact information, Social Security number and ID, such as a driver's license. We'll also ask for this information for any joint account owners. If you want to fund your account online, you'll also need a debit or credit card or the bank account and routing numbers from another account.
It takes about five minutes to submit your account application.
We'll review your account application and open your account. It can take up to 48 hours for the funds to be deposited into your new account. You can immediately register for access to online and mobile banking to manage your account. If you opened a checking account, your debit card will be mailed to you within 10 business days.
You can use the online loan application to apply for a new or used auto loan, recreational vehicle loan, unsecured loan, line of credit or Visa credit card.

During the application process, we’ll ask for your driver’s license number, Social Security number and payroll information. We’ll also ask for this information for any joint applicants or co-signers.
If you are applying for a collateral loan, such as for a car or recreational vehicle, we will need the model year. Supplying the make, model and identification number (ex.: VIN) is also helpful in processing your loan application.
It takes about five minutes to submit your loan application.
We’ll review your loan application and contact you within 24 hours. We may contact you if additional information is required to process your loan application.
If you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser, you may encounter issues with the application not displaying properly. We recommend using Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari when you are completing your online loan application.
