Committed to Community
When our founding members began what is now known as Fort Financial Credit Union, they were driven to help those in need. That original motive was financially-focused, and while helping our neighbors, friends, families and businesses with their finances still remains our number one priority more than 75 years later, we also take our responsibility to the communities we serve very seriously.
We understand the connection that maintaining a vibrant community has to the area’s economic health and to residents’ financial well-being. That’s why you’ll see us sharing our time, supporting local causes and partnering to bring events to the places where we serve.
Those activities include:
- Providing financial education at local high schools and universities to give our youngest residents a solid financial foundation
- Supporting treasured local festivals that instill community pride, such as Angola Balloons Aloft, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in Auburn, Churubusco Turtle Days, Leo-Cedarville Freedom Festival and the Three Rivers Festival Chalk Walk in Fort Wayne.
- Sponsoring and attending fundraisers and golf outings for various causes, including chambers of commerce and locally-based non-profit organizations
- Participating in health fairs hosted by our employer and education partners to promote financial wellness
