2026 Scholarship Program – Opening May 1
Fort Financial is committed to investing in our members and communities. We believe education and personal development are key to moving forward together. Our scholarship program supports members in good standing who are actively pursuing their educational and personal growth.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- High school seniors graduating this calendar year and enrolling as full-time college students OR current full-time students at an accredited college or university
- Note: High School students must rank in the top 25% of their graduating class
- Home school students and GED graduates should email the Scholarship Commitee for specific instructions
- Must hold Fort Financial Credit Union membership in their name with a minimum $25 balance and be in good standing
How to Apply
Eligible members may apply through our web-based application, available beginning May 1. Applications will be accepted through June 19.
Application Deadline
All completed applications and required materials must be submitted by Friday, June 19.
Required materials:
- Transcript including GPA (for high school/college)
- High school transcript should also include class rank
- Two letters of recommendation
Selection Criteria
The Scholarship Committee evaluates applicants based on:
- Academic achievement
- Community involvement
- Character, initiative, and integrity
- Concern for others
- Financial need
Award Notification
The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select recipients. Awards will be announced in mid-July, and all applicants will be notified of their status.
