Updates to Shared Branching Beginning May 1

Starting May 1, 2025, Fort Financial members visiting a participating credit union in the CO-OP Shared Branch Network will need to load their state-issued ID into IDCheck before starting a transaction. This new fraud prevention measure ensures your identity is verified for Shared Branch transactions. This does not apply when you visit a Fort Financial branch – you can continue to conduct business as usual at our locations.

Application Window Now Open for 2025 Scholarship Program

Applications for the 2025 Fort Financial Scholarship Program are now being accepted. The application packet is available online and the deadline to submit your application is June 13, 2025.

Fort Financial Sells Gastonia Branch

Fort Financial Credit Union has made the strategic decision to close its branch located in Gastonia, North Carolina. Members Credit Union, headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, sought to expand to the Gastonia market and has agreed to purchase the branch and extend employment offers to the entire branch staff.

Fort Financial Announces 2024 Scholarship Program Winners

FORT WAYNE – Fort Financial Credit Union is thrilled to announce that Olivia Lashure, Natalie Linnemeier and Sadie Rhea have been named recipients of the 2024 scholarship program. Olivia and Natalie are both attending the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) and studying Biology and Elementary Education, respectively. Sadie is majoring in Psychology at the University of Mississippi.

Our Corinth branch had a Christmas bake sale recently where they raised $1,385! They used those funds to sponsor 5 kids through the The Salvation Army Corinth Mississippi Angel Tree program.

Last week (Sept. 17-23), one of our ATM servicing partners experienced an issue that led to some ATM outages in the area, including all Fort Financial ATMs. While this partner was able to assure all impacted financial institutions that no member data was affected, we have added additional safeguards to our ATMs to protect against any potential problems from the outage.

Updating Corporate Address for Bill Pay Services

Fort Financial to cut ribbon at new corporate headquarters

Fort Financial Credit Union today announced plans to celebrate the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in north Fort Wayne. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to kick off the festivities on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 9 a.m. at 8815 Lima Rd. The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Fort Financial Opens New Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne

Fort Financial welcomed its first visitors today into its new corporate headquarters at 8815 Lima Road in Fort Wayne. The new building replaced the credit union’s former corporate headquarters on Spring Street in Fort Wayne. The new office houses all of Fort Financial’s support departments and administrative functions and also features a full-service branch.

We're moving! Our corporate headquarters on Spring Street in Fort Wayne will close on Friday, December 30, 2022 and our Lima Road branch inside Meijer will close on Monday, January 2, 2023. Fort Financial Employees Adopt Military Family for Christmas

For the second straight year, Fort Financial employees participated in a collection to provide an area military family with Christmas presents. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we were able to brighten the holiday season for one deserving family in our community. Presents were delivered to the 122nd Fighter Wing at the Indiana Air National Guard Base in Fort Wayne on Wednesday, December 14.

USF accounting students to serve on Fort Financial Supervisory Committee

Fort Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce that University of Saint Francis senior accounting majors Elise Faber and Leah Stoffel have accepted invitations to serve on the FFCU Supervisory Committee. The Fort Financial Supervisory Committee meets on a quarterly basis and receives updates and audit summaries from the internal audit and compliance officer. The committee’s purpose is to have an independent review of audits outside of management.

Fort Financial Unveils New Northeast Fort Wayne Branch

Fort Financial welcomed the public into its newest branch today. The new credit union branch is located at 6342 Saint Joe Center Road, at the southeast corner of Maplecrest and Saint Joe Center Roads in Fort Wayne. The full-service branch features an open lobby with two private offices, two drive-up lanes and an exterior ATM.

State Road 37 Branch Closure and Maplecrest Branch Opening

Our State Road 37/Maysville Road branch located inside Meijer will be closing on Friday, November 11 in preparation for the opening of our Maplecrest branch on Monday, November 14.
